Francis Chiappetta, passed away unexpectedly the morning of Tuesday, March 24, 2009. He was born in Greenwich, CT on May 6, 1945 to Ruth and Patrick Chiappetta who are deceased.      He worked for the United Postal Service for 35 years and retired from Carmel Post Office in 2007. He was a Volunteer Fireman for Putnam Engine & Hose Company #2 (Engine 63) for 34 years and a 32 year Life Member of WCVFA.      He retired to The Villages, in Florida, with his wife Connie. He enjoyed golfing and the social activities of the community. Survived by wife Connie, daughter Lisa Grosso and her husband Michael of Fishkill, NY, son Patrick and his Fiance Erin Masterson of Danbury, CT.      Visitation will be held Saturday, from 2:00 -6:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home.
